Obituary of Margaret Lynn Mottishaw

Margaret “Lynn” Mottishaw, of Sterling, VA, born in Calgary, AB, Canada, September 6, 1951, passed away peacefully at Reston Hospital on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

This loving mother and grandmother, who died at the young age of 65, will be sadly missed by her only daughter, Megan Barber (Tim), grandchildren, Jaxxen and Mannex Barber, sisters, Karen Mottishaw, Diane D’Amico (Bram), and Barb Mottishaw, and numerous nieces and nephews. Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Peggy Mottishaw (Timmins), and by her husband, Charles E. Marshall.

Lynn was born and raised in Calgary AB. She became a resident of Virginia when she married Charles Marshall in 1996. She loved her daughter and grandsons with all that she had. She adored cats and dogs and had a hidden artistic talent. She persevered through many tough battles in her life with her amazing will.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday May 5, 2017 at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA.
