Obituary of Jean Forren Serone

On Friday, April 28, 2017, Jean Serone passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family.  She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Jean was born in Ronceverte, WV to James Everette and Nettie Mae Forren.  She was the youngest of ten children.

After moving to the Northern Virginia area, she met and married Richard H. Serone (d. 2008).  Jean spent her life loving and raising her eight children. 

Jean went on to have a successful career with SAIC in the Data Center where she worked for 19 years.  She retired in Sterling, VA where she spent many wonderful days with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Brenda Morgan (Thomas), James Serone (Julie), Patricia Serone, Sharon Caracciolo (Peter), Nancy Baskfield (Barrett), John Serone (Robin), Thomas Serone (Rachel), Robert Serone as well as her 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with more on the way.
