Obituary of Karen Mae Robinette

Karen Robinette, 62, of Herndon, Virginia passed away on June 22, 2017 surrounded by family at home.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, June 28, at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon.

Karen was born April 22, 1955 to Marvin and Beulah Griffith.  She attended Madison College (now JMU) where she met Bruce Robinette, her husband of 41 years.  Together they raised a family with four children and established an accounting practice in 1988.  Her great love for her family extended not just to her children but to their friends in the community who knew their home as a haven in their youth.

Karen is survived by her husband Bruce Robinette; her children Brian Robinette, Kevin Robinette, Christina Park, and Sean Robinette; her brothers Marvin “Sonny” Griffith, Jr. and Christopher Griffith; and her grandchildren Jacob Park, Noah Park, and Nathan Park.

Her family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Grace Covenant Church and Living with Cancer for their support.
