As a sales engineer who called on Son for many years, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Son.
Tears stream down on your face, when you lose someone you cannot replace. Son was much more then a client, a co-worker, an engineer. He was a friend.
I will miss Son, but will never forget him. He will always be remembered in my heart and the hearts of many others.

As an employee of the Upper Occoquan Service Authority (UOSA) for the last 36 years and as the organization’s Executive Director for the last 11 years, I can attest that UOSA has had some exceptional employees and engineers over the last several decades, but I think all would agree that Son was special. He was special because not only did he possess a great intellect and great engineering skills, but he possessed a dedication and a strength of character that were unequaled. Throughout his hard fought battle he would have been completely justified in extracting himself from most of his projects and his leadership role, but he refused to do so. His presence, his love of family, his desire to accomplish UOSA’s water quality mission despite his challenges, inspired each and every one of us daily. He was taken from us way too soon, but the UOSA family will fondly remember him for a very long time. Our sincere condolences go out to his family and loved ones…. Rest in Peace our dear friend and colleague!

It was my privelige and honor to work with Son. He was so kind and giving of himself. He spoke of his family often and loved them, which is why he fought so hard to beat his cancer.
Knowing Son just made you want to be a better person. He will be missed.
My prayers are for comfort for his family and strength in working through this terrible loss of an absolutely honorable husband and father.

I am very saddened by the news of Son's passing. He was a genuine human and was always a pleasure to talk with. Son and I spent many long hours working together many years ago while he was with Celanese, and he made every effort to keep in touch with me throughout his career.
I will always remember him as a kind and compassionate soul that brought out the good in everyone he met.
I will truly miss our conversations and my prayers go our to his family who he loved dearly.
