I considered Paul a friend during our high school days, and am so sorry to hear of his death. I remember his kindness and his wonderful smile. I send a wish for comfort and loving memories to the family.

The best memory I have of Paul is when he and his band played at Vivian and my wedding reception in July 1970. That was a great party!
He was a great friend and brother-in-law.

I personally did not know Paul, but ate numerous times at CafeSano. It hands down one of the best restaurants in Reston. Condolences to his family, friends & his employees.
Paul was my best friend in Kindergarten and we remained very close for our entire lives. He was one-of-a-kind.
Paul was one of those people that know who they are and can never really be anything but true to themselves. That's very attractive, especially when so many of us never quite figure out who we really are or want to be.
I have many very fond memories of running with Paul through the holly trees on his family farm when we weren't much taller than the grasses between the tree rows. And the 60s and 70s when Paul really wanted to be Jimi Hendrix and he could make his stratocaster almost believe it.
His passing has left a hole in my life that simply cannot be filled.
My sincere and deepest condolences go out to the entire Swinley family. I was blessed to join Paul for two great adventures - InterOffice and Cafesano. Paul's leadership, his passion for his work, his genuine care for his employees and his remarkable ability to encourage and motivate everyone he knew to strive for excellence - and settle for nothing less - were an inspiration to all and have left lasting, lifelong impressions. His legacy will live on in those he left behind. Thanks for the memories Paul and for inviting me along for the ride! You will be missed..........
