Obituary of Betsy Adenike Matovu

The death is announced of Mrs. Betsy Adenike Matovu (nee Shooter), of Herndon, Virginia, who suddenly passed away on July 12, 2017 in Reston Hospital Center at the age 60yrs..

She is survived by her husband, George Matovu,

Children: George, Francis, Majeteh and Alice.

Siblings: Mrs. Catherine Cox, Ms. Sydnella Shooter, Mr. Sydney Shooter and Mr.Dunstan Shooter,

Nieces and Nephews including: Celia Kargbo, Daisy During, Shirley Goddard.

Grand Children: Zara, Lemuel, Benjamin and Brian.

Other relatives and friends, include, the Shooter family, Wolf family,  Wright, Cox,  During, Williams, Scott, Harding, Faulkner, Ifediora,  Kargbo, Oyewole, Cole, the Ssanlongo Mubiru family, John & Joyce Wanda, Robin & Rose Kibuka, Eridadi & Margaret Muwonge and many others in Sierra Leone, Uganda, Liberia, UK and USA.

Funeral service will be held at St. John Neumann church, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston VA, 20191 On Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11 AM.

Viewing is on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Adams Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St, Herndon, VA 20170, and also on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the church, from 10 AM to 11 AM

Interment is at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, 831 Dranesville Rd, Herndon, VA 20170 followed by reception / Repass at the church hall.
