Obituary of Mary A. McCoy

Mary Alice (Keys) McCoy, a life-long resident of Pleasant Valley, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Mary was born January 3, 1928 in Pleasant Valley, Virginia and she was the daughter of Bennie A. and Nellie S. Keys. Mary was a long- time member of the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George M. McCoy, her son, Greg A. McCoy and her daughter, Denise A. Murray.

Mary is survived by three children, G Michael McCoy Jr., Patricia A. Jackson and John (Randy) McCoy, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grand children and 1 great-great grandchild.

The family will receive friends for fellowship from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Adams-Green Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:30 PM with Rev. Dr. Justin White officiating. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
