Patricia J. Hollowell

Pat Hollowell passed away in her home Saturday morning August 12, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.  Present with her at the end were her husband of 38 years, her two sons and her loyal dogs.

Born in Detroit to the late Eurcell and Rachael King, she moved to Sterling Heights Michigan where she worked as a shipping clerk at Cadillac Products.  It was there she met her future husband, Jim.  They lived in Royal Oak and Huntington Woods, MI until they moved to their current house in Sterling Virginia in 1988 where they subsequently raised their fine sons.

Pat loved her dogs, her garden and until recently, was an active member of the Capital Area Austin Healey Club where she enjoyed touring the country attending British Car events.

She is survived by her husband James N Hollowell, her sons Neal R Hollowell and Trevor J Hollowell, her sisters Elisabeth (Bruce) Blatch and LuAnn (Frank) Huber.

The family will receive guests from 6:00-8:00pm Sunday evening, August 20, 2017 at Adams-Green Funeral home, 721 Elden St, Herndon, VA.  The funeral mass will be held at 11:00am Monday August 21, 2017 in Our Lady of Hope Catholic church.  Final interment will be private.
