Obituary of Bonnie Kay Cummins

On Friday August 18, 2017 Bonnie Kay Spencer Cummins went to heaven to be with her beloved husband Bob. She passed away peacefully in the arms of both her daughters, last Friday in Reston, VA. After a 10 year battle with Pick's disease, a rare form of dementia, she succumbed to the side effects of the disease. Bonnie was born and raised in Waynesboro where she also met and married Robert E. Cummins,  She was preceded in death by her husband Bob and both her parents, Carol and Clarence Spencer. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Karin Beth Cummins Schwartz and Laurie Beth Cummins Morris, their husbands, and her 2 grandsons, Zachary and Nicholas. Services were held in Virginia this past Sunday. Please remember Bonnie when you are approached to donate to Alzheimer's and Dementia research.
