I took care of Paige at the scene of his accident. I am so sorry - I wish the outcome had been different. Even in the 40 minutes I knew him, it was clear he was a lovely soul. I asked him repeatedly if he was in any pain and he told me no. I hope this brings some comfort to his family. I left some flowers by the bridge in honor of Paige ...

Paige was a great person whose friendliness was infectious. He took many of us, new Forest Service arrivals to the DC area and its transportation thickets, under his wing. He was the mainstay of our carpool with his clipboard. His stories on those long commutes were absolutely hilarious!

When I joined the ranks of Harley Davidson at Patriot HD, Paige was the first to greet me and welcome me to the chapter. Paige also encouraged me to join his Patsy Cline ride almost immediately. It was my first group ride and the most memorable. At every stop, he played one of Patsy's songs, he was telling us the history of her and the surrounding countryside and historical markers, our very own tour guide on any ride. He was truly the best Boss HOG I have ever know, he will be missed by us all.

I was so sorry to learn of Paige's passing - I really enjoyed knowing and working with him in the Forest Service, and we were all better for him. One of my favorite memories was when we were in Ft. Collins, CO, and he bummed a ride with me back to the Denver airport . . . in a YUGO!!!! We laughed so much about it . . . My thoughts and prayers for his family. Susan Prentiss

The loss of my friend and colleague Paige is measured not only in fond memories of his kindnesses and enormous input into our Sommerset travel and entertainment programs, but in his valued friendship, spirituality and respect needed to work together with the senior sector of society. There will be a void where he once lived for us all. My condolences to Dianne and his family he loved.

Though I never met Paige, I can definitely see his influence and spirit of family in Lane. I am blessed to work with, and call Lane a friend, and know his father would be very proud. They say all you really leave behind is memories, and it sure sounds like Paige spent his life making amazing memories. His lost will be felt by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to Lane and his entire family.
Sincerely,
John Tubbesing

Sharon and I send our deepest condolences. Page was a deeply spiritual man with an innate ability to touch the lives of those around him through simple gestures: a smile and a handshake and you would know he was your friend. Always quick to help a brother in need and make you feel like you were doing him a favor.
There will forever be an empty place in my heart where Paige brought light and joy.

Paige was one of the finest men I ever had the privilege to know.
He was kind, caring, empathetic and never a bad word about anyone.
He had all the attributes of what we should all try to achieve.
I was part of his riding group and i loved him like a brother.
There are no words to express how much I will miss him.
Please accept my sincerest condolences on such a heartbreaking loss.
The world lost a good man last Saturday.
Sincerely,

Dear Diane and family, My sincere condolences to you for the loss of Paige. Paige was larger than life. We worked together in the Forest Service Washington Office and carpooled for seven years. During that time Paige always talked about his family and what each member was doing. He was so proud of all his family. He was such a character and a wonderful man. He was always a spark in the office with such a positive attitude. I remember him playing his guitar at office Christmas parties! We all remember him fondly. I will be praying for peace and comfort for your family.

Paige will be missed tremendously. I worked with Paige for years at the US Forest Service and he was a great co-worker as well as friend. Paige made holidays fun with his guitar and singing. He always had a smile for everyone. I know his family will celebrate his passing as he celebrated life. Keep riding that Harley Paige!

The description of Paige is spot on - he brought enthusiasm to everything he did. I had the good fortune to work with him for many years in the USFS, and he was the model of dedicated civil servant; bringing high standards of integrity and competence to everything he was assigned. But first and foremost, Paige was a family man. His conversations were filled with stories of his adventures with Diane, all the kids, and later the grandkids. I will never forget all the pictures of family that covered the walls in their house in Sterling. Yes, Paige was a very good man, but more than that, I think he was a wealthy man because of his relationships with family, friends, and co-workers, and we will always be richer for our relationship with him. God speed Paige.
