I am so sorry for the famlily's loss. Col Dick was an inspiration to me in high school and Ill never forget him. He was the first teacher that I had that actually cared how i did in school and as a person if I was ok. He expected nothing but our best because he had faith in us, he will be greatly missed.

Please accept my condolences. He was a true gentleman and leader. In fact, he made a great impact on my personal life and career when I was one of his students at the Armed Forces Staff College in 1985. He clearly demonstrated to me his love and devotion toward family and country. He made a great difference to many people and will be missed. Along with prayer, my heart goes to all his family.

Dear Carol and family, I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. What a wonderful blessing your marriage is to your children and grandchildren. I love the quote, "The best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother." Don did and does and you loved and love him. I know you will one day meet and converse and be with him again.
