Obituary of Scott Mallory Wiggins

Scott Mallory Wiggins, 41, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 19th. Born on February 19,1976 in Hartford, CT he was the eldest son of T. Richard and Susan (Mallory) Wiggins.

Scott graduated from Oakton High School in 1995, the College of William and Mary in 1999, and earned his Juris Doctorate from George Mason University in 2001. He married his wife in Bluemont, VA in 2008.  He was an avid sports fan, capable of conversing with anyone about their favorite sport, however abstract. He had a deep and abiding affection and loyalty to his Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots. Though however much he loved following his teams, it paled in comparison to his love for following his “babies” around. His greatest joy was being with and snuggling his people.

He is survived by his beloved family; his wife Kristen (Mitchell), his three children Cassie (6), Theo (4), and Ben (3m), his mother Susan, his brother Brian, his sister in law Stacy, and his nieces Lydia (10), Lucy (7) and Paige (2).

The family will receive friends Monday, October 23 7:00-9:00 pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home in Herndon, VA. A funeral service in celebration of his life will take place at 11am Tuesday Oct. 24, 2017 at The Kings Chapel,12925 Braddock Rd., Clifton, VA 20124.
