I send my deepest sympathy to you at the loss of your dear one. The death of someone young especially hurts for the tragedy of a lifespan not fully lived. (Isa. 38:10) But “there shall be a resurrection of the dead.” (Acts 24:15) Jesus revealed that this is a reality when he raised his friend Lazarus to life again at John 11:39-44. This and other resurrection accounts are a demonstration of what Jehovah will do on a far grander scale in the paradise earth to come.
The Bible’s promise of a resurrection does not remove the pain from your hearts. But try to imagine the happy reunion when Kelly is welcomed back into the loving arms of friends and relatives! The thought of being able to hold her again can make your pain easier to bear. Learn more at jw.org.

Dear Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I find comfort in the promises found in the Bible. Very soon, God promises to rid the earth of pain, tears and even death. (Revelation 21:4) He also promises to resurrect those who have died to a resurrection of life! (John 5:28,29) What beautiful promises. Until that time comes, though, may the God of all comfort provide you just what you need at this time to cope.
