May the God of all comfort strengthen the family at this time of loss. And may you be comforted by God’s promise that “he will destroy death forever” (Isaiah 25:8). That the resurrection is real is demonstrated by Jesus at John 11:19-44 where he raised Lazarus to life after 4 days in the grave. Tom and I were friends from the time he started his real estate career.i remember when his children were born. He and Sally were a loving couple who have enlightened many people. When I left No.Va Tom continued his friendship by sending me a beautiful calender every year. When I finished enjoying them I gave them to a friend who is an antique car enthusiast. You sons and your families are blessed to have had them to lead you to successful lives.

We can picture Tom sitting in his chair and smoking a cigar by his boathouse on a warm summer day in July or August gazing at the beautiful St. Lawrence River with a warm smile. Tom always seemed at peace and very happy to be on the River. He was a very caring person with a good sense of humor and always had a story to tell you. My wife, Patty, really enjoyed talking with Tom whenever we were headed out on a boat ride or returning from a boat ride on the river. Tom, may you rest in peace.
