Obituary of Dorothy "Dot" Maria Hatcher

Dorothy Maria Hatcher, 57, of Chantilly, VA was received by her Lord on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She was born February 2, 1960 in Moundville, AL to the late Charlie Wright Thornton and Dorothy Lucille Bishop Thornton. Dot is survived by her husband Arthur Hatcher, Jr. “A.G.” and daughters Candice N. Hatcher-Solis and her husband Ernesto Solis, Jr., Lela M. Hatcher  and one grandson, Ernesto Solis, III.  She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Lucille Thornton and Frances Evelyn Thornton.  The family will receive friends on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at ADAMS-GREEN Funeral Home,  721 Elden St., Herndon, VA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday December 12, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 13807 Poplar Tree Rd., Chantilly, VA.  Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Arlington National Cemetery (friends please arrive at 9:30 AM at the administration building).
