The first time I met Peter Brett was at Kate’s wedding. After the reception everyone went back to the Madison house. Peter was the picture of a proud father and his enthusiasum was infectious. He made sure he greeted everyone warmly, put a drink in their hand, and told them a breif yarn of the bride growing up. It was a glimpse of a man who knew how to be happy and had the sophistication of manner to display it with grace. Can you say grace about a man? I think yes in this case and I will remember him mainly for it.
