Obituary of Warren A. Oliver

Warren Ambrose Oliver, of Chantilly,  VA went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on January 4, 2018, born October 21, 1939 in Creswell, NC he was predeceased by his wife Betty Roseberry Oliver, his parents Rossie A. Oliver and Frances A. Oliver (Ambrose)  , preceded in death by sister Frances A Vaughtand husband (Bill)  Brothers Clinton A. Oliver ,  Paul Wayne “Whitey” Oliver, Gene A. Oliver,  Robert A. Oliver and wife (Barbara Jean) , step-son Wayne K. Roseberry of Chantilly, VA survived by sister  Mae Oliver (Carroll) Baker of Virginia Beach, VA , sister-in laws  Anne Kelly Oliver, of Boykins, VA and Margarite Oliver of Norfolk, VA   his step children Celeste Roseberry Smith, (Joe) of Vienna, VA  John Douglas (Connie) Marr, of Bluemont, Larry E Roseberry (Marilyn)  of Linden, VA, Matthew A. (Sonia) Roseberry of Millington, TN, 13 step-grandchildren, 9 step-great-grand children,  3 nieces, 9, nephews, numerous great nephews,  all who cherish his memory. 

  Warren, was a Korean War Vet, spent many years in St Louis, MO, he retired from General Motors. He moved with his family while a child from Creswell, NC to South Norfolk, VA (Chesapeake).  He was an avid hunter, cook, and reader, he was a pilot.  He was a Christian.  He was quick to smile and share bits of wisdom.  He was the calm in the storm.  He slipped peacefully into the arms of his Lord just after thanking those who were caring for him, reunited with those who went before he will be dearly missed.   Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of your choice
