I was really saddened (and still am) at the passing of Phil. We had been friends and colleagues for over 20 years. Many luncheons and dinners together with our other friend/colleague Glen Nichol (spelling may be wrong) prior to Glen's passing, and then other meals with just the two of us. I recall Phil loving to ride his motorcycle and his talk of work at The Hague, which was special to him.

My wife and I met became conscious of Phil at the Norwegian sponsored CMM. Phil was always pumped up and trying to do the best for the service member. I wish I had a hundred like Phil. I will surely miss Phil as I already have.

Wow, I was greatly shocked at finding out Phil was gone. I remember I first met him when I came to DISA, many years ago. Phil was a true professional and extremely helpful to the "new" guy and provided a lot of technical viewpoints in helping me do my job. He was great to talk with about life and the job. I knew he loved to fly and ride his motorcycle, when the weather was great... He will be missed by all he touched. Condolences to his family and friends...

Phil and I were coworkers. He was great to work with and always had a word of cheer or a funny story to share when things seemed bleak. It was always easy to return the favor since he appreciated a good story or joke. He will be missed.
