Obituary of Laurie Joseph Delaune, Jr.

Laurie Joseph Delaune, Jr., 73, of Herndon, VA, passed away on January 18th, 2018. He is survived by his three sons Alan Patrick Delaune, Christopher Joseph Delaune, and Jeffrey Thomas Delaune (Beth). He is preceded in death by his parents Gladys and Laurie, Sr. 

Laurie's carrer began at the NASA Computer Center in Slydell, LA where he was for 5 years. He then started working for the government, where he stayed for 26 long and successful years. After retiring, he dedicated his time to his many hobbies, mainly being a carpenter around the house, building things small and large. 

Visitation will be held at Adams-Green Funeral hOMe, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170 on Tuesday January 30th, 2018 from 9-10:30 a.m. with Mass following at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree Street, Herndon, VA 20170.
