Dr. Barbara Mella was truly a exceptional person. As a patient I continued to write her letters after moving out of the area. She wrote me back every time. She was a truly caring and loving person in this world. She is well remembered by many that I’m sure.
Dr. Mella saw me in fairfax hospital iin 1974 after an episode of lead poisoning. She was an excellent Dr. With a great bedside manner. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.
Barbara was a dear friend, mentor, and guardian angel. Her dedication and love for her family and her profession was remarkable and steadfast. It is heartwarming to think of Barbara reunited with her beloved pet cats. It helps to soften the loss of this very special person.
