The death of someone young especially hurts for the tragedy of a lifespan not fully lived. (Isaiah 38:10) Yet, we are not left without hope, for God has told us the truth about death. He tells us “there shall be a resurrection of the dead.” (Acts 24:15) Jesus showed this to be a reality when he raised Lazarus from the dead. (John 11:39-44) The Bible’s promise of a resurrection does not eliminate the pain of losing a loved one. But imagine the prospect of being reunited with Tiffany.
