Obituary of Robert Nelson Hannum

Robert N. Hannum “Bobby”, age 95, of Sterling, formerly of Cabin John passed away February, 18 2018.  Bobby was a proud Firefighter for over 65 years as well as a WWII Veteran.  He retired from Army Mapping Service.  He is survived by numerous extended family members and his fire department families of Sterling Park Volunteer Fire Department and Cabin John Park Fire Department.

Family will receive guests, Thursday, February 22 from 5-8pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA.  Funeral will be held 9:30am, Friday, February 23 at SVFC Station 618, 46700 Middlefield Dr., Sterling, VA followed by a reception prior to interment at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD.  In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Sterling Park Volunteer Fire Department or Cabin John Park Fire Department.
