Obituary of Hanna Shukri Farhat

Hanna Shukri Farhat, 80 years old has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on 18 February 2018.  Hanna is survived by his sister Naimeh Rizquallah, his wife of 53 years, May Farhat; his daughter Flavia Beida Kamel (Dr. Nakhleh Beida Kamel); his daughter Fabiola Zarour; his son John Farhat (Marwa Farhat); and his daughter Viola Barnes (Michael Barnes).  Hanna is survived by 9 grandchildren: Jennifer Fanous and Chris Beida Kamal (Flavia); Dr. Christopher Zarour and Steven Zarour (Fabiola); Alexander Farhat, Jianna Farhat and Brianna Farhat (John); and Sophia Barnes and Isabella Barnes (Viola).  Hanna is survived by 3 great grandchildren: Joseph Fanous, Jad Fanous and Jayden Fanous (Jennifer/Flavia).
He is proceeded in death by his parents Shukri and Nejmeh Farhat, his brothers Najib Farhat, Jiries Farhat, Farhat Farhat, Jamil Farhat, Norman Farhat, his sisters Yesmin Rizquallah and Helaneh Kabban, his grandchildren Jianna Beida Kamel (Flavia) and Sebastian Farhat (John).
Hanna was a great man, a very loving husband, father, and grandfather.   He enjoyed word find, playing cards with his family, old Westerns and “high fives” with his Grandchildren. Hanna was as a construction Foreman in his early years and later owned his own supermarkets. He cherished morning rides down “lover’s lane” with his lovely wife after their children went to school.  He lived a very full life and was adored by his family.  He loved his wife with every fiber of his being. He will be sorely missed but NEVER forgotten.
