Mr. Sharpe,
How I'm going to miss you so. You were one of a kind, unique in your own way. Always so helpful and caring along with dedicated to all of us at Engility. Loved talking to you on the phone after I moved office buildings, and was so looking forward to the day you would greet me again daily.
May you rest in peace my friend until we meet again.
Love,
Jessica

My first memory of you was my first week with Engility. It was after business hours and you insisted on standing at the door and watching me as I walked to my car. Always the gentleman!! Every day you greeted me with a smile, your wonderful sense of humor and great conversation. The world is a little bit darker without you. I will miss you.

Maurice, I hope you know how special you were to us and can see how many lives you touched. Seeing your smiling face every morning made my entire day and once I moved to WFIII, you made sure to stay in touch. I will miss our phone conversations about football and other random topics. You're laughter was contagious! I considered you my friend, and I am going to miss you so much! I know you're in a better place and I hope you're looking down on all of us with that big smile and feeling good about the positive effect you had on all of our lives. Rest in peace my friend!

A bright light has dimmed at our office. Mr. Sharpe was a kind man, who always had a joke or smile to share with whomever came to our office. Whether an employee, visitor or caller, he had no problem taking authority when necessary to protect the privacy and security of the employees and leadership at Engility and he did so with finesse and charm.
To the family, please know that your loved-one was loved by many and our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn his untimely death. Psalms 21 and 23, comes to mind to share with you for the days ahead.
May the peace of God rest upon you and comfort you at this difficult time.

Maurice was always smiling and always had a story to tell. He was a gentlemen - always holding the door open for me when I came in dragging a briefcase behind me or carrying bags. I would fumble at the security scanner and Maurice would get right up and help me out. He was well liked by his colleagues. He would bring a smile to my face every time I stopped by to see him. Maurice took the time to know everyone's name and everyone knew Maurice. He will be sorely missed. Deepest sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace.
