Dan was a social man who was deeply involved in the Reston Presbyterian Church where he had been active for many years.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and was even able to remain passionate about the Washington Redskins throughout his life.  He will always be remembered as a kind and gracious soul, fun-loving and able to make people laugh.  He generously gave of his time and talents to assist others.
