Joseph and i met in the mid 1960’s when we were students at the University of Otago in NewZealand and remained firm friends until his death more than 50 years later
For a year he was my Vice President when i was the President of the Students Association and bonds forged then remained strong
All those years ago he was interested and interesting and demonstrated that he was a true leader.
I watched from a distance his career with the World Bank and from time to time we met in NZ or in the USA especially since ill health restricted his ability to travel.
Florence was his constant support and companion and he was so proud of his two very able children
Lyn and I mourn his passing
