Obituary of Jane Divekey Mall

Jane Divekey Mall passed away on April 2, 2018 at INOVA Hospital in Leesburg, VA.  She was born in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Otto and Beatrice Divekey.  Jane attended West Aurora Schools and then spent two years at Stephens College, Columbia, MO.  In 1944 she married  Robert Franklin Mall while he was serving his country in the Naval Air Corps.

Jane lived in Aurora for 58 years, then moved to Leisure World in VA to be near her daughter Judith.

When in Aurora she enjoyed working in her garden and was a member of the Garden Club.  Jane tried very hard to be a good golfer but never succeeded.

 She did needle work and played bridge, spent some of her time being on the Altar Guilds of the Episcopal Churches.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert and a daughter Janice in 1975.  Jane is survived by her daughter Judith, a niece, and nephew and cousins-in-law.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Friday April 13, 2018 at Adams-Green Funeral Home 721 Elden St. Herndon, VA.  20170. A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday April 14, 2018 at St Anne’s Episcopal Church, 1700 Wainwright Dr. Reston, VA 20190. Interment will be private.
