Dear Family and Friends,
I am completely heartbroken to hear this news, especially so late. I worked with Pat at WTOP and was one of the ones who tortured him with crazy comments and news stories about Reagan. Always with love. Although, not always with loving words back from him.....LOL.
I was the station Liberal Democrat, he was the Conservative Republican. Different from today's use of the words, we were true examples of those labels. Pat and I would talk for hours about issues and ironically, agreed on most. We just approached the issues and solutions a bit differently.
We agreed enough, Pat wanted to hire me as his assistant at Justice. I really loved him and loved being his friend. Please know the world has lost a wonderful man. But, I'm not telling you much you do not know.
God bless. Healing and Light to you all.
Lisa Moeller

I've known Pat since first joining the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, Seton Assembly 5-years ago. Immediately recognized him as an individual who cared very much about his friends and associations, organizations he belonged to, especially the Knights of Columbus.
He will be missed, however feel very grateful to have associated with him while present on this earth.
My deepest condolences to his family members.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord. May his Soul and the Souls of all the faithful departed, through Your Mercy, Rest in Peace. Amen

Dear Anita and family,
Patrick was a buddy of mine from elementary school until his move to Mequon. Even at an early age it was evident that he was intelligent and contemplative. His lifetime achievements were truly remarkable.
Speaking as the KHS senior class president allow me to say that our class is extremely proud of Patrick's accomplishments. He will be remembered fondly.
Sincerely,
Dave "Whitey" Langlois

Good morning,
I know, as any person who has had a death of a family member or friend, the void and pain.
Mr. Patrick Korten did a lot of work for the common good. Such as the Pharmaceutical company (-ies). I pray that he rest in peace and that there are many others who carry on the work necessary.
May God be with you all and persevere in our faith.

My wife Mary says the Kortens lived a block away from her home in Kingsford, MI.
The Kortens were a highly respected family in our community. She remembers babysitting for Pat and his sister and recalls, at his young age, what a bright and respectful boy he was.
I was Pat's band director at Kingsford High School. He played the drums and was an outstanding member of our band. He was always eager to perform and a great asset to our music program. I was so sorry he moved away after his sophomore year.
Mary and I were saddened to read of his passing in our newspaper. We send our sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

Pat was a steadfast and loyal advocate for the cause of liberty. He was so kind and consistent in standing with me in the battles that I was facing over the last several years. I am so very grateful to call him a friend. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Anita and Family,
Pat was always there at St. Catherine's -- being a lector with his fantastic radio voice, greeting us as we walked in, or cooking pancake breakfasts and fish dinners. He is in the woodwork of that parish and we will miss him along with you. We now have an advocate in heaven for us.
With our deepest sympathies,
Bill, Barbara and Patrick Kelley
