Obituary of Stanley Miller Longwill

Stanley M. Longwill Stan passed away in peace April 14, 2018 at the age of 89, after a tenacious fight with leukemia. After 57 years of marriage, Stan is survived by his wife, Grace; three children, Tamara (Robert), John (Tammy) and Cindy; along with sister Doris (Glenn). He was a proud granddad of Jeffrey, Heather (Alec), Stephen, Nicole, Chelsea (Josh), Amber (Kevin), Kelsey, Timothy, Daniel and great-granddaughter, Meara. Stan was a graduate of Hummelstown High School and Pennsylvania State University. He proudly served God and country as both a member of the Herndon United Methodist Church and an Army soldier in the Korean War. Stan retired as an engineer from the U.S. Geological Survey in Reston, VA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Herndon United Methodist Church with Pastor Gary Robbins officiating. Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Hershey Cemetery, Route 743 North Hershey, PA.
