Obituary of Robin Elaine Klaiss

Robin was born in Honolulu Hawaii, on March 9,1981  and lived in Reston, VA, Sydney, Australia , Herndon, VA and Boonsboro, MD. She loved all the things that girls do growing up but especially loved animals that were closed to the ground, turtles, lizards, snakes, one was 5 + feet long, she had many dogs and once lived with a big white wolf. She loved camping, fishing, canoeing and the great outdoors.

Her favorite time, was when we were living in Australia, where she enjoy, the ocean, seeing and holding all the exotic animals, she loved to go horseback riding, she bungee jumping forward and backwards, she swam with sharks, and seals. On her return to the states, she brought back a Rose Breasted Cockatoo "Paul" from Australia, She completed high school at Paul the VI and then attended George Mason University. She worked at pet store, veterinary clinic and brought home many of the animals that people would leave inside the store. Her Potbelly pig Norman was the talk of the tailgaters at the Redskins game, she always drew a football on his back and walked him around the parking lot…he was always good for a few free beers. Her second passion was working with wood and designed coffee tables and sink basin and walking sticks. She made a stool for Nora Roberts Inn in Boonsboro.

She leaves her loving mother and father Donna and Bob from Herndon, VA, brother Michael and his wife Michele, nephews Ben & Austin and niece Rachel from Seattle Washington, Her younger sister Terri and her husband Brandon McGhee niece Aurora and nephew Jackson from Martinsburg West Virginia. Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins on both East and West coasts and the mid west and lots of friends.
