Obituary of Suresh C. Subramaniam

Suresh Subramaniam

April 7^th, 1964 – May 15^th, 2018

With deep sorrow, we inform you that Mr. Suresh Subramaniam, of Chantilly, Virginia, passed away on May 15^th, 2018 after a courageous battle against leukemia since August 2017. This was his second fight with cancer. He was diagnosed with throat cancer with acute Laryngitis in May 2012. After intense treatments for more than a year he won the battle and started his normal activities in 2013.  He was unfortunately not lucky this time.

Suresh Subramaniam (54 years) was born and brought up in Pollachi, a small town in Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu in India. He did his Master’s Degree in Applied Math and Computer Science at PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore. He was married to Jothi who is also from Coimbatore. They arrived in the United States as a young couple in 1995.

Suresh was a technically sophisticated, multifaceted, and accomplished IT professional serving at several US Government agencies and lastly held the position of Senior Software Advisor at the Department of Defense

He is survived by his beloved wife Jothi, his lovely daughters Sneha and Purva, mother-in-law Sundari Venkatraman, elder brother Ramesh, his wife Sudha, sister Chitra and her husband Venkatesan.  Sneha, his eldest daughter, is a sophomore at VCU and Purva, the younger daughter is a 9^th grader at Chantilly High School.
