Obituary of Thomas Carter Goolsby

Thomas (Tom) Goolsby, of Sterling, VA (Age 86) passed away on 8 June after a short illness. 

He was a retired Sheet Metal Mechanical Superindent of 47 years; he served in the Navy for four years;  he was a member of Sterling United Methodist Church; a member of AOPA for 40 years and the U.S. Golf Association.  

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Becky), sister-in-law Alice Godfrey, and sister and brother in law, Katy and Doc McGraw and friends.  

Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on June 13, 2018, at Adams-Green Funeral Chapel, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation with Rev Steve Vineyard officiating.  Burial will be at the End of the Trail Cemetery in Crawley, WV, on June 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Homer Bryant officiating. Reception will be at Sterling United Methodist Church at 304 E. Church Rd, immediately following the funereal service.
