Obituary of Anita Faye Reznikoff

Anita Faye Reznikoff, beloved wife and mother extraordinaire, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2018.  Anita was the daughter of Morris and Martha Stone, wife of Robert, and mother to Steve, Jim and Glen.

While she spent most of her life caring for her family and community, Anita was at various times the Rabbi’s secretary at United Hebrew Congregation in St. Louis and a medical office administrator; she also ran the back office of the family’s chain of toy stores. Her actual title throughout her life was care giver. Taking care of other people was what she did. She volunteered in her community, took care of her family, friends, relatives and strangers and led by an example of kindness and warmth.

Anita was selfless and a nurturer, constantly concerned with taking care of those around her.  She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.  Mourning her sudden loss are her husband of 63 years, her three sons and their wives, three grandsons, as well as two remaining siblings and countless lucky souls who had the chance to move in her orbit.

Anita was a breast cancer survivor; donations may be made to the Dana–Farber Cancer Institute

The Funeral will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, June 14th 2018 at Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation 1441 Wiehle Avenue, Reston, VA 20190

Shiva will be held at Bob and Anita’s home 2631 Iron Forge Road  Herndon VA 20171
