Obituary of Jerry Curran

Gerard “Jerry” Curran 57, passed away Sunday, July 8th 2018 peacefully after a 6 year battle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Born in Long Island, NY, the son of the late John and Joanne Curran, the seventh of nine brothers. 

Jerry graduated from Comsewouge High School, and received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Dowling College in 1984. He worked for many years at The Boeing Company. Jerry loved to workout, play sports, attend family beach trips, and to take care of his home and lawn, but his greatest passion was his beautiful family, whom he adored. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ellen, his cherished children, son Zachary, daughter Kaitlyn Sweger and son-in law Aaron Sweger, and his first grandchild to be, his brothers John, Michael, Kevin, Tim, Patrick, Dennis, numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, all who loved him dearly. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.  

Jerry’s memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Adam’s Green Funeral Home in Herndon, Virginia from 5-8pm.
