Obituary of Ann Alletta Menozzi

Ann Alletta Menozzi of the Potomac Falls section of Sterling passed away at Inova Loudoun Hospital on Thursday, August 2, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents, Helen and LeRoy Tompkins.

 

Ann was a native of Garden City, NY and a graduate of Drew University with a BA degree in English Literature. She worked for Thalheimers, The Hecht Company, and Macy’s in Charlotte, NC and in Northern Virginia. She was an active member of Galilee United Methodist Church, where she led a bible study class for many years.

 

She is survived by her husband: Bruce, her brother: Roy (Beth), her daughters: Alletta Gonzalez (Alvaro), Joanna Holcombe (Edwin), Jennifer Beall (John), six grandchildren: Rowan, Ana, Tessa, Kieran, Alvaro, and Aidyn, her cousins: Renée DeLyon-Peiser (Bob), and Peter DeLyon, and her brother-in-law Rodger (Becky).

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 6, 2018 at Galilee UMC, Sterling, VA; service at 2:00 pm with a reception following.
