We are so sorry to hear of Oscar's passing. Cathy and I were frequent diners at Villa Mozart and it was always a treat to see Oscar's smile when we walked in. Over the years we exchanged stories of our families and grandchildren and you could see how proud he was of everyone. We will keep you all in our prayers in this difficult time.

My sincerest sympathies to Oscar's family at this very sad time. I remember Oscar from the days when he worked at Ristorante Il Cigno on Lake Anne in Reston. Every time I sat down at a table where he worked, I always felt like I was visiting with an old friend. His smile was as heart-warming as his personal greetings and handshakes. We always asked about each-others families and I have to say he was always very proud of his.
My heart goes out to the Campos family as well as Reem and Andrea of Villa Mozart. Oscar leaves behind many wonderful memories! He will be deeply missed!!

I am so sorry to hear of Oscar’s passing. I knew him for many years. He was often a bright light in my day. When we would go to Villa Mozart on a stressful and hectic day he would brighten our day with his wonderful and warm personality. He will live on in our memories!

I knew Oscar through Villa Mozart. He was such a kind, caring man. I always asked for him as he took such pride in recommending a good wine, or a meal. He made you feel special ( when actually he was the special one).

Jose or "Chepito" as we used to call him was my cousin. We grew up in El Salvador n he lived in the same house as I did while he was going to high school or university in San Miguel. I always admired him as he used to tell us stories about school n his difficulties as he was from small town. We are so deeply saddened by this news! We’ve had so many wonderful memories with Oscar as our waiter when we dined at Villa Mozart. He shared many happy occasions with us. The most memorable was when he shared in our engagement at the restaurant. He will be sorely missed. This is heartbreaking.

The many times we went to Villa Mozart Oscar always greeted us with a smile a nd welcoming words. We never left without a hug. He was a great person besides being the best server we ever had at any restaurant. He will be missed.

My husband and I spent anniversaries at Villa Mozart. Oscar was always our waiter. He was so professional, but with a sense of humor. He offered to take pictures of us and always made our meal so much more than just food. All our prayers for you!

Please accept my condolences on Oscar's passing. I knew him first as a waiter at Villa Mozart, but later came to see him as a friend who just happened to be at a restaurant. His constant smile and kindness are the foundation of my memory of him. He was very proud of all of his family and really glowed when talking about his grandkids. He will be greatly missed.

This makes us very sad. Oscar was always a welcome face to see in our visits to Villa Mozart. He made each visit seem like the restaurant was only there to serve us - making sure (without being asked to) that we always sat at our special table, where we became engaged, bringing us small treats to celebrate our anniversaries, ensuring that everything was just perfect, and so on. It is a less bright day, knowing he is no longer with us.

Oscar served me and my friends for many years and in the several restaurants in which he worked. He was the most gracious human being I ever encountered in any setting. He was more than a server. He was a warm friend wherever and whenever I and my friends were fortunate to share time with him.
