Thank you Kurt for leaving behind the many small stones at the condo. I think about you often and will value these stones forever. I appreciate your kindness to me and so many others. You will always be Kurt "Mr. Volunteer Guy" McJilton to me. Loved seeing the many volunteer awards you received from Reston Association over the years.

Kurt was my best friend. I always thought of him as an elf or a woodland creature, emerging from a more gentle, enchanted world than this one. One day we were gallivanting in the woods together and we came upon a spot full of radiant light which beckoned us towards a magical realm hitherto only glimpsed in dreams. Only with Kurt could the experience have been as rich as it was, for he was a kindred soul and I knew we were inhabiting the same transcendent moment. I miss you, Kurt, and I hope we get a chance to share that light once more, someday, somewhere, somehow...

I have only met Kurt once, but the interaction stayed with me. He was a very kind, perceptive and funny man. It was truly my pleasure to have known him, however brief. I am sorry for your loss. Sending love and light.

A truly special, unique Light has gone out.........may each of us touched by his Light, carry it to others. How will it sink in, Kurt, that you are gone? Slowly......in time I suppose.......give it time.
