“Moose” Keefer was one of our father’s dearest lifetime friends. They both served in the 13th paratroop division during World War II. Our family vacationed with the Keefer’s in the 60’s, getting to know, Barbara, Dean and Dave. What a wonderful family! I travel through Cleveland so I had the opportunity to visit with Moose in East Lake sometime after 2005, I think at the same house that we visited in the 60s. What a fantastic opportunity. Barbara was not well then, but Moose was the same man I remember as a kid. He was gracious, funny and very warm. He shared some stories of he and our father John Clark during the war. Dad had passed in 2004. I pray that Moose and Barbara are together in paradise. Au Revoir Moose!
