Obituary of Jeffrey Arthur Shinrock

Jeffrey Arthur Shinrock of Reston, Va. passed away on August 30, 2018. He was born October 8, 1957, in Bangor, Me., son of Fred C. Shinrock and Nancy K. Shinrock (Andersen).

He graduated from high school in Lancaster, Pa. and went on to receive his B.S. at Penn State University where he was a member of the first men's national championship volleyball team.

He settled in Reston, Va to begin his career and raise his family.  He spent many years as an IT Director at the Children's Inn at NIH and most recently worked in Commercial Real Estate Services and Facilities for JLL.

He is survived by Pam Seidlinger, his beloved wife, his sons Eric and Matthew, and his daughter Kiersten. He is also survived by his parents Fred and Nancy, his siblings Leslie Rice/Dave and Andrew Shinrock/Marcy.

A memorial service in celebration of life will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at The Lake House, 11450 Baron Cameron Ave., Reston, Va. Luncheon to follow.

In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children's Inn at NIH or The American Heart Association benefiting aortic patients.
