I'm so sad to hear about this today. I just can't believe the world has lost such a beautiful soul too soon. Ellen cared so much about other people and others happiness. When we found our house and fell in love with it we almost lost it at the last minute due to issues outside our control. Ellen took it upon herself to cut her commision so we could still afford the downpayment and still get our house. She didn't have to do it and we couldn't believe it when she offered to do it. When we were down and thought we had to start over, Elen found a way to help us get our dream home and in the end took less to do it just because she cared.
Still, Ellen wasn't just my family's relator, she was a friend. She just took time out of her busy schedule to come visit us after the birth of our second child three weeks ago. She often took the time to send me a text just to see how we were doing and to keep track of our kids as they grew. She had such a beautiful heart and wonderful personality to match. May God smile down your wonderful family and give them comfort in this horrible time. Rest in peace Ellen.

Hadassah’s Light
Rain the day it happened,
rain when I was told.
Fortnights of grey descended,
to a dark September I was sold.
Hadassah’s light has left the world,
let all color drain away.
Chilling squall upon my heart,
ever will it stay.
Breathing, walking, getting up,
must be counted now.
The next, the next, the next we take,
Hadassah taught us how.

I knew her from high school and then later in life we met at the networking group she and Heather put together. She was such a likable person. I remember her great sense of humor. I worked on this video for her and I don't think she ever published it. I thought it really showed off her magnetic personality.
