Obituary of Randy Marie Goolsby

Randy Marie Goolsby, age 65, living in Brambleton, Virginia passed away on the evening of September 10, 2018, at The University of Maryland Hospital.

Born in 1953 in Harrison Township, Michigan, Randy worked for many years as a Registered Nurse until her retirement in 2012.

Randy spent the early part of her career dedicated to the care and support of the elderly and dementia patients. Later in her nursing career, she worked on the medical surgery unit of the hospital. Randy was a nurse in Michigan, and during the time she lived in Colorado as well.

Randy was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed going to the movies, socializing, and good food. She had an amazing sense of humor and a contagious laugh. Her smile could light up a room.

Randy is survived by her husband, James Goolsby; daughters, Jennifer Bonner and Jamie Howard; grandchildren, Katherine Howard, Ryan Hahs, Claire and Simone Bonner; Sister, Gale Miller; Brothers, David, Daniel, and Dennis.

Randy was predeceased by her parents, Russel and Virginia Klinkhamer.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 3-5 PM at ADAMS-GREEN Funeral Home 721 Elden St. Herndon, VA.  Interment Private.
