Obituary of Mary Theresa Higgins

Mary Theresa Higgins, age 90, of Front Royal VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Warren Memorial Hospital. She was born to John C. Moore & Rita E. Middlecamp Moore on November 13, 1927 in Alexandria, VA. She was the 1 of 7 children. 

Theresa retired from Loudoun County Public Schools after 32 years as a school bus driver. She had many hobbies, which included golfing, bowling, and softball. Her talents were endless when it came to gardening and a sewing machine.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Higgins and daughter Brenda Higgins Turner.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Richard Joseph Higgins and wife Ruby and Lee Marion and wife Betty,  five grandchildren, Kevin Turner, Jaime Marion, Bryan Marion, Mandy Higgins and David Higgins. and 14 great grandchildren.

A visitation will take place on Monday, September 24, 2018 between 5:00-8:00PM at Adams Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street in Herndon.  Chapel services will follow on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will take place after the funeral services at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon.

In lieu of flowers a memorial donation in memory of Theresa may be made to her favorite charities; Blue Ridge Hospice or Warren County Humane Society.
