I listened to Rich on the Redskins Talk Podcast nearly every day for the last few years. I read his “Need to Know” early in the morning when everyone else was still asleep. I don’t live in the area anymore so I never had the pleasure to meet Rich and take a selfie with him. I felt like I knew him though, and always enjoyed his jokes and endless knowledge. I am terribly sorry for your loss. Hail to Rich Tandler!

I knew Rich all of his life. He was my cousin, my childhood memories are all wrapped up in the Tandler family. I loved him, love Andi and the kids, his brothers and sister. I love more than anything that he got to do what he always wanted to do - and that that folks loved him and “got” him! Hail to the Redskins! Love you RT!

My sincere condolences goes out to the family during this difficult time. May you find a measure of comfort in God's promise at Revelation 21:3,4 where we look forward to a time when there will be no more pain and death any more.

I found Rich on the Internet. I'm not sure of the year, but maybe by 2011 or so, after I got into Facebook. And when I got onto Twitter, I found I was able to interact with Rich. He answered my questions and he taught me about the Redskins and about football. He was very objective in his analyses. He had so many great features; he was very creative. The Redskins have been my life-long passion also. As someone who made a big career change in their late 30's, I loved how Rich made his way from restaurant work to a full-time sports journalist. I checked Rich's Twitter feed several times a day for team updates. He was a great presence around the team and I already miss him very much. Following the team will have less joy and fun now. My best wishes to all of his family and friends. I hope the team beats Dallas at home this week. Rich would love that.
