Obituary of Alfred Charles Feeney

Alfred Feeney passed away on November 3, 2018.  He was born in 1939 on Governors Island in New York City and has been a resident of Northern Virginia for the past 43 years. 

Al graduated from the University of Maryland and served in the U.S. Army National Guard.  He worked in the private sector at GEICO for 38 years in several different leadership positions.  While at GEICO, Al earned industry recognition including posting top scores in the DC area on a key certification.

Al is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy, and their two children, Michael Feeney (Sarah), and Alexis Feeney Tallman (Brian).  Al also leaves five grandchildren, Rory, Tate, Holland, Jenna, and Drew.

Friends and family will celebrate Al’s life on Saturday, November 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Herndon.
