John and I are very sad to hear of Wanda's passing. We enjoyed chatting with Wanda at Clubhouse Cluster get-togethers, and I always liked running into her at Harris Teeter. She was so excited when the grandchildren were born. Condolences to you and the girls.

I am sending condolences on behalf of the Vaughn cousins The sudden loss of Wanda saddened us and we send our prayers. Dear Family,
I send sincere condolences for your loss. There are comforting promises in the Bible that the time is coming when “all those in the memorial tombs till hear [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28,29) Our Loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God has also promised that “he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more” (Revelation 21:4) May it comfort you and strengthen you to reflect on God’s promises to bring back to life your dear loved one to a beautified earth where she can be reunited with her family, and never have to get sick and die, ever again. (Psalm 37:11,29; Isaiah 33:24)

I can't even remember how I met Wanda at USGS but she was always a friendly ray of sunshine. I saw her in May, 8 years after she retired, and she seemed exactly the way she was when she left USGS. Bubbly, happy and an old friend. I know you have many wonderful memories to warm your hearts. She left to soon but left a beautiful mark on many hearts <3 Love BJ

It was so wonderful to celebrate the Centennial class of '68 50 year class reunion with Wanda 6 months ago. I cherish the memories of our Winona Hall sisterhood at Hampton U. May God bless her family with the peace and strength that comes from many fond memories that live in the heart. God's mercy and grace endures forever.

We would like to send our condolences to the Yarborough family. When we lose a loved-one, sometimes it's hard to find the right words to say. So we would like to share a thought from God's word the Bible. Psalms 34:18 says God "is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Please let these words provide some comfort during this difficult time.

I will miss Wanda's infectious smile and positive attitude. We first met more than 10 years ago when I worked in Reston Town Center. I would run into her and Chuck at Market Street Grill. Then, a few years later we happened to run into each other again at Thai Tada, and our friendship grew from there. Rest in peace, Wanda. I hope you are enjoying your Vodka and Soda in heaven :-).
