My thoughts and prayers go out to his children and family. Mani was an amazing person. I had the privilege of knowing Mani from high school and from working at Dalt’s restaurant in Baileys Crossroad. I unfortunately, I only saw Mani a few times after High School. RIP my friend, you will never be forgotten. Sherri Mills (Rosling)

My heart goes out to all of Mani's family. He was a wonderful person. I worked with him and Rachel outside of the Herndon Law Firm on a weekly basis doing bookkeeping and payroll for the firm. I came to know Mani as a giving person to his family, friends and community. He always took time to listen about anything going on in my life. He helped alot of people who could not afford an attorney within the community. Although I am unable to make the services (living in Virginia Beach VA) my thoughts and prayers will be there with all of you. God bless his children with their loss. Thank you, Darlene Harvey

This is heart-breaking. Bettie, Alex, and all his friends and family, we pray for your comfort and well being. Because of our Faith, we know the peace and joy that awaits him, all the others already lost, and eventually...each of us. This knowledge helps us, but the loss is huge, and it hurts.
Susan, Gloria, Warren, and family, offer our deepest love and prayers to each of you, as you heal. You all mean the world to us.
Sending hugs and sincere love from Illinois. God Bless All of You!
Gloria and All

I remember the good times. Mani and Rachel were the first to show us the sights of Washington D.C. On one of these trips, it was raining hard when we heard a thump. Mani pulled the car over and declared a flat tire. Although the rain was coming down in buckets, he didn't hesitate, out of the car he sprang and had that tire replaced in record time. He definitely impressed his in-laws! He took us to the National Zoo and showed us a lot of patience as we are very slow walkers. Another family trip took us to Ocean City, Maryland where he hosted us for the weekend. Being from Maine, we looked forward to our trips to Virginia to spend time with Mani, Rachel, Mason, Sierra and Mani's extended family. Mani and his family always went out of their way to make us feel welcome. He will be missed.

Mani had his law office right next to mine, on the same hallway, a few steps away from me. I would often see him in his office, meeting with clients and diligently working on his cases. Mani was an an absolute gentleman, always polite and kind. He sincerely cared about other people and how they were doing, and he was ready, willing and able to help others. He was a very thoughtful and considerate person who was very interesting to have conversations with, and had a very pleasant voice and way of speaking that I can still hear in my memories of him and that I will miss. I am very sorry to hear of his passing and consider myself fortunate to have known him.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Very sad to hear this news. Mani was a bright light, a true friend and trusted adviser. He always had a smile and great sense of humor. He will be missed by many as he touched so many lives.
