Obituary of Peggy Ann Waller

On November 28, 2018, Peggy Ann Waller passed away at her home in Sterling, VA at the age of 62.  Peggy was born on January 4, 1956, and was the youngest of six children born to her parents, the late Clarence and Dorothy Waller.

Peggy enjoyed spending her time watching movies, reading, listening to music, doing cross-word puzzles, and shopping; but above all she cherished spending time with her family.  Peggy grew up in Merrifield, VA as the youngest to six older siblings.  Peggy became a mother in 1980 when she had her only son, Bradford Earl, and moved to Leesburg, VA.  As a single mother, Peggy worked multiple jobs as a corporate custodian, pizza delivery woman, and hotel custodian.  Peggy traveled to New York, Virginia Beach, and took annual cruises on Washington DC's Odyssey Cruise Ship with her sisters and mother.  Peggy's love for music and her beautiful voice allowed her the opportunity to be the lead singer in a local band.  After retirement, Peggy moved back to Sterling, VA and spent most of her time with family and filled her days being kind to all those who were lucky enough to meet her.  Peggy became a grandmother in 2015 and enjoyed cuddling and watching disney movies with her two young granddaughters.

Peggy was an incredible mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend that radiated genuine kindness to those lucky enough to be in her presence.  She will be missed every day by her family and friends.

Peggy is survived by her son, Bradford Waller, daughter-in-law, Stacy Waller, two grandchildren, Autumn and Savannah Waller; siblings Linda Barry, Joan Thompson, Gail Waller, Gregory Waller; 11 nieces and nephews; and countless friends and associates.

Peggy joins her beloved mother, Dorothy Elizabeth Waller, father Clarence Edward Waller, oldest brother Clarence Edward Waller Jr., and favorite artist Whitney Houston in heaven.

The family will receive guests Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10am until service at 11am at Adams Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA followed by internment at Mt. Morris Baptist Church Cemetery, Hume, VA concluding with a repast at Mount Morris Baptist Church, Hume,VA.

In lieu of donations, hug your loved ones, watch a good movie with popcorn, and be kind to one another - Peggy would want that.
