Obituary of John Edgemond

Edgemond, John William III, Cpt. USN Ret. On Monday July 25, 2011 at his home in Reston, Virginia. Beloved husband of Janet Edgemond. Devoted father of Skip (Jamie) Edgemond, Caryn (John) Brzykcy, and James (Tammy) Edgemond. Brother of Joan Tootle, and Suzy Coleman. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren - Hailey, Amy, Jenna, Megan, Zach, Jack, and Cameron. Captain Edgemond's accomplished Naval career includes CO SRF, Subic Bay, Philippines, and original team member of the design, development and implementation of the Aegis Weapons System.
