I would like to express my most sincere condolences to General Buckingham, and to all of the Buckingham family. I must say that without question, Mrs. Buckingham is one of the finest, most elegant and kind ladies that I have ever met. I was fortunate enough to have known your family in the 1970s and '80s. On more than one occasion, we had dinner with "the Buckinghgam family." I remember thinking, after meeting Mrs. Buckingham, that "when I grow up, I hope that I can be as lovely and as kind as she is." She really left an impression on me - and I never forgot her, or the family. God be with you as you grieve the loss of your beautiful wife, and mother. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you,
