I am honored and blessed to have had the opportunity to not only work with Cherie but to count Cherie as one of my friends. Cherie taught me the peril of popping bubble wrap and the pleasure of a lasting friendship. My heart feels a warm thank you for letting me be a part of your life.

Rest In Peace Cherie. I especially loved spending time with you and Bill together when you would come down to my UVA class each year. Bill, I admire your great devotion to Cherie as she fought valiantly these last few years.

Dear Bill and family, it is with great sadness that we heard about the passing of Cherie. She was a wonderful person, with a big heart and great sense of humor. I remember, like it was yesterday, speaking with her often when I was at PSINet and always liked her very, very much. Full of life, joy and fun is how I remember her. Always a kind word and funny observation no matter what the circumstance. I know how important she was to you Bill and to her family. This is a tough time indeed and I send, on behalf of my family, all of our deepest condolences to you and your family. It was my great privilege to know Cherie and I am so grateful that she was such a positive force in your life Bill, the life of her family and all those who knew her for so many years. May you find peace in this difficult time.

Dear family of Mrs. Schrader,
The obituary shares a piece of her life that resonates with me — her work as an executive assistant. As a former executive assistant, it was a pleasure to see how you’re honoring her efforts in helping executives run these companies.
Please be comforted in knowing that Jehovah our loving God cares for you. The scripture below mentions that Jehovah God hears your prayers and hears your cries for help and does not ignore you. So, while you’re mourning your loss, please be assured that you’re heard.
Psalm 39:12 — Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, Listen to my cry for help. Do not ignore my tears. For I am but a foreign resident to you, A traveler passing through, just like all my forefathers.

I feel so very lucky to have encountered such an amazing soul. Although I did not get to spend a tremendous amount of time with her, she had a great impact on me. I will forever be thankful and feel gifted. All my best, Samantha

My sweet gentle but strong warrior friend ... besides loving you for every wonderful thing you were, not just to me but to all in your world, I will love every bit of you left behind in my heart and memory. You came and went through life on your own terms ... I will always miss you.
